::: OUR STORY :::
Founded by artists Rachael A. Zerbe and Adam M. Zerbe (S.H. CRANE, WIDERANGE RECORDS, SKY COUNTRY BAND). Their process began with investing into a twenty acre property and home in the Shasta Valley beside Mt. Shasta in 2018. This is where the wide valley floor sits at 2,400 feet speckled by volcanic eruption remnants, grasslands, juniper forests, and an open sky. With daily views of inspiration on display, the intention was felt to invite fellow artists into this rural landscape by way of an artist-in-residence program, thus the Memory Seed Foundation was formed. It is with this non-profit model that the foundation invites in and expands California’s artist culture.
